Website LIVE on 6/7/2011

Hello everyone,

My name is Bud Fox. No, it’s not my real name. Since majority of people involved in finance and trading have seen the original Wall Street movie, I decided to use the movie as the theme for this website. Yes, greed is good. However, in order to turn greed into money, every trader needs an edge. Hopefully that’s exactly what this website provides – a technical analysis edge to assist you in achieving your trading goals.

This website is not a specialized technical analysis site. Some sites only focus on elliott wave, or some sites only focus on indicators such as RSI, stochastic, etc. My goal is to identify the right technical analysis tool to address the right kind of market at the right time in order to generate that trading edge. I do not feel any technical analysis method is superior than another is. They all have their places in the trading world.

This site mainly covers the U.S. equity market. The mother of all equity indices is the S&P 500 index (SPX). Unless I address specifically, every time when I mention about the market or have a chart about a market, it is meant to be SPX. I personally trade Russell 2000 future (symbol TF in tradestation); therefore, Russell 2000 charts get to be covered by me frequently as well. Occasionally I do look at other markets such as currencies and commodities. The main purpose of doing so is to assist us to trade the equity market.

There are three components in this website, and each of them targets a specific kind of trader based on his or her trading time frame. The Weekly Market Analysis is geared towards traders or investors who hold positions over several days up to several months depending on the strength of the trend. A portion of the Weekly Market Analysis also serves as the Daily Market Analysis for the last trading day of the week. The second component of this site is the Daily Market Analysis. This is for traders who hold positions at least overnight. Last, it’s the Intraday Market Analysis, and this is for day traders. Please see the following disclaimer.

Good luck trading. I hope the information from this site provides value to you and your career.

I need a web service that trades options on a daily basis.
Do you know of any good options trading services?

      Hello Howard,

I personally don’t trade options. However, I did look into trading them. I believe Option Express is the best in the business in terms of option trading. You should look into that.
